The digitally-control pipe threading lathe,a special tool to turn and mill pipe threads,characterized by larger diameter of the spindle bore(over 130mm in general) and chucks installed before and behind the head stock so as to hold and process tubular or rod pieces of latge diameters. In addition to milling cylindrical/conical SI/BS pipe threads,it can be used to replace the general lathes to mill outer diameters,bore holes,and planes.It is widely used to process working pieces such as drilling pipes/collars and casing in the sectors such as petroleum,smelting,chemistry,hydropower and geologic exploration.

This machine is mainly suitable for turning pipe ends, taper pipe thread, pipe band, pipe sleeve, rod drilling and so on, It has characters of big power, good rigidity,high accuracy and excellent keep performance FANUC OR SIEMENS CNC system has been used. The realiability is very high. Pulse coder is as a measuring element, longitudinal and cross feed form semi-closed loop control.

1.DRC use electric furnace smelting, resin sand molding casting technology,avoid sand holes, stoma casting internal defect effectively, all the accessories are assayed by imported spectrum analyzer, it assures the quality of the casting . The casting had been through second thermal aging treatment with good stability.
2.The bed of floor type is the whole structure. The rigidity and width of guide way on the bed of lathe is good enough. The guide way is through high-frequency quenching, the slide guide way joint SD compound soft belt. to make more wear-resisting and lower friction factor. The lead screw is the whole structure (not butt). The saddle is wider and thicker than before, the machine is running more stable. And the cutting ability is better.
3.The 3 boxes of lathe were processed by Taiwan’s CNC boring and milling machine center. The other tools are processed by CNC lathe and machine center to ensure the precision of the box and tools.
4.First step of the accuracy test of the equipment is testing the repeat accuracy of X and Y axis with Renishaw laser interometer imported from Britain. After that, inspecting and accepting the whole equipment based on the enterprise standards, guarantee the accuracy of the machine tool.
